I'm looking for games for my power mac g5 that run on osx. Preferably if they're available from macintosh garden, even better. But I'm always willing to go ebay hunting as well.:) I'm open to other suggestions as well, but I'm MOSTLY looking for rpgs and first person shooters. When I started this website, I wanted it to gather some helpful links and wisdom from my own experiences with the Power Mac G5, and I think it has succeeded in that mission. My aim too was that the site would be simple and load quickly on our PowerPC machines, while still looking modern and good. Again, mission accomplished.
Definitely up the RAM to at least 8GB.
There were 3 different G5 2.0GHz, which one do you have?
At the Apple Icon at top left>About this Mac, click on the text below Mac OS X where it says Version 10.4.x and report the Build# please.
Then click on More Info>Hardware and report this upto but not including the Serial#...
