Harpoon 3 Advanced Naval Warfare is the result of decades of development and fan support, resulting in the most comprehensive, realistic, and accurate simulation of modern combined air and naval operations available to the gaming public. Harpoon (aka GIUK Battleset) is a video game published in 1989 on DOS by Three-Sixty Pacific, Inc. It's a strategy and simulation game, set in a naval, real-time and licensed title themes, and was also released on Mac and Amiga.
Ready for a deep-sea submarine adventure? Bloomo is a challenging, underwater physics-based game where you control a submarine and plunder the depths of the ocean looking for rare plant-life. Captain Bloomo has discovered an interesting new type of water-plant in the underwater caves off the island of Phi-Sai. Your goal is to control his submarine and try to find these plants.
There is a cool scientific aspect to this game as you have to move obstacles and create pathways using an active understanding of physics and gravity. The underwater caves are littered with garbage and other obstacles. You must use the submarine’s harpoon gun to move these obstacles. Some of them have to be dragged away so that you can enter passageways. Others have to be stacked so you can reach other caves and progress through the levels.
Be careful not to hit the submarine off the walls of the cave, as that damages its health bar. When the health bar goes all the way down, it’s game over. As well as helping to exercise your knowledge of gravity and trajectory, this adventure game should also help to put your creative engineering skills into action. You’ll need quick fingers to succeed, as you have to control both the submarine’s movements and the harpoon gun. Think you’ve got what it takes to be a good submarine pilot? Show us your stuff Admiral!
How to Play: Control the submarine using both your computer mouse and your computer keyboard Arrow Keys. Alternatively, you can use the WASD keys: W (up); A (left); S (down); D (right). For the harpoon gun, aim with the cursor of your computer mouse and left click to fire. If you fire at a movable object, like a crate or some garbage, it gets attached to your harpoon. You can then drag it away or move it somewhere else. To release the object from the harpoon, left click again.
In some levels, you have to clear debris (objects) in order to continue. In other levels, you must stack the debris on scales to open a door. Remember to try to collect as much of the rare plant life that you see attached to the cave walls. But don’t get too close to the walls because if you crash off them, you damage the submarine. Also, beware of mines that explode if you get too close to them. If you keep damaging the submarine until the health bar disappears, you lose a life. Keep an eye on your health bar in the top left corner of the game screen. Happy deep sea diving!
Tip: Take your time when dragging the objects around. There is no time limit and this gives you time to explore all of the caves.
If this Flash-based game no longer works on IE11 on your PC / MAC, try playing on Chrome or Firefox browser.

Description of Harpoon
The best naval simulation ever made, period. Based on Larry Bond's realistic tabletop wargame of the same name, Harpoon not only is faithful to Bond's game but adds many great features only possible on PC: comprehensive unit database, intuitive mouse-based interface, and outstanding scenarios, both historical and hypothetical.
The level of detail, complexity, and nuances is staggering-- you will discover new gameplay subtleties every time you replay the game, for years to come. Not to mention learning a thing or two about classified information . Steep learning curve maybe the only fault here-- but hey, it IS a hardcore naval simulation :) Two thumbs up!

Not all of it is Epic’s fault though. This tutorial is going to show you some things to try if Fortnite keeps crashing on your PC.A prime example of when it is Epic’s fault that Fortnite crashes is update 5.21 when they introduced a bug that kept crashing the game. Not that it matters as all you want to do is get the game working again. Local crashes are not always the fault of the developer. From broken updates and server issues to a whole range of computer problems causing the game to crash. Epic games keeps crashing when i open it mac and cheese.

Best video games 2018. Best Indie Games for Mac in 2018 Indie games might not be everyone's cup of tea, but they represent a source of novelty in the gaming world. Most of the time, big studios are more concerned with money than innovation, sticking with what they know to be profitable and focusing on sequels, prequels or DLCs, which can get rather tiresome. After receiving a new Mac with Catalina, I found out just under 300 of my 450 Mac Steam games were no longer marked compatible. Once I picked up my jaw, I installed and test-launched all of them. I was able to recover around 75 that haven't been updated to show 64-bit, including some popular favorites.
I would just about kill for a iOS version of this game for my iPad.

I bought this in 1989. I still have Harpoon in my sim-directory today. That's for a reason.

Harpoon - old school Maritime war-game, based on the Board game. Driving one of the parties (USSR or NATO) offer 13 scenarios of a possible world war. The action takes place in real time, so the game is quite dynamic and realistic. Graphics in these games do not count.
